A community-centered run club in Columbia, SC
Hey Bestie, Run! started with a simple idea: running should feel fun, inclusive, and be a source of connection. After falling back in love with running in a season of healing, I wanted to create a space where movement could feel joyful—not intimidating.
We’re a free, all-levels run/walk club that meets bi-monthly in Columbia, SC. Some of us run fast, some of us walk with strollers, and some of us just come for the vibes. There’s no pace requirement, no pressure to perform—just good people moving their bodies and encouraging each other along the way.
Every meet-up includes:
• A 1–3 mile run/walk route (you choose your pace + distance)
• Good conversation and community (yes, we’re bestie energy only)
• Optional post-run hangs (coffee, beer, or just stretching and chatting)
Whether you’re training for your first race or looking for a reason to get outside, this club is for you. You don’t have to “look” like a runner or run a certain speed. You just have to show up—and we’ll be right there cheering you on.
This is your sign to join the run club where joy > judgment, connection > competition, and you can make besties along the way!
Meet The Team
Two real-life besties with the same life mission: to make fitness accessible to everyone and celebrate movement for every body through cultivating a community that is open to all.

Allie (right) — Founder & Creative Director
A half marathoner, content creator, and caffeine-powered chaos coordinator behind Hey Bestie, Run. I started this run club because I wanted something more than just pace goals — I wanted connection. Whether I’m chasing toddlers as a nanny, training for my next race, or editing TikToks in the car, I believe movement should feel fun, welcoming, and empowering. I’ll be the one cheering the loudest, snapping pics, and reminding you that you’re doing great, bestie.
Sybil (left) — Director of Operations & Community
A teacher, mom, and your go-to girl for making things run smoothly at Hey Bestie, Run. I help plan our events, organize the weekly details, and make sure nothing falls through the cracks. Allie might be on the mic, but I’m the one keeping everything grounded and growing. I believe in the power of community, the joy of movement, and supporting women in every season of life.
